Multiplier Event (E2) – The INTenSE Dementia Simulation toolkit
Dublin City University will organize a seminar to present the INTenSE toolkit and to discuss the aims, learning techniques, learning activities and the facilitation resources that are available. Furthermore, the ICT web-based platform will be presented along with the results of the assessment of the effectiveness of the INTenSE toolkit. The overall aim is to disseminate results of the project to local stakeholders and organizations working in the field of dementia care as well as local decision makers to influence local practices and policies. In particular, Dublin City University will:
- Share the project intellectual outputs IO2 and IO3.
- Spread the project results, improving the project international breath and its influence and impacts.
- Explore new training opportunities and cooperation possibilities among the participants.
The specific target of this event will be health and social care professionals working in the field of dementia, policy makers (e.g. representatives of the National Dementia Office, the Health Service Executive, the Department of Health and local health authorities), service providers (e.g. nursing homes, day care and respite centers, community organizations), patient advocacy groups and third sector organizations, research and academic institutes, people living with dementia and their family caregivers.
