The Improving demeNtia care Through Self-Experience (INTenSE) is an ERASMUS+ project that started in December 2020. INTenSE aims to educate, equip and train health and social care professionals to better support and care for people living with dementia through open access innovative learning approaches and the use of ICT tools that explore the lived experience of the person with dementia.

INTenSE aims to educate, equip and train health and social care professionals to better support and care for people living with dementia by developing innovative learning approaches based on the concept of self-experience.
INTenSE will develop a web platform that will serve as a meeting point for potential users and function as a tool for creating mutual learning through the exchange of experiences and evidence.
INTenSE will develop a state-of-the-art simulation toolkit intended to be used by professionals, with the aim to simulate dementia symptoms using principles of self-experience
